Terms of Service

Effective 2026-05-13 · Read these terms carefully before using the service.

By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of this service ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service helps users discover and qualify UK-incorporated businesses by aggregating data from public sources (notably Companies House) and producing AI-assisted summaries, scores and recommendations. The Service is supplied on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

2. Data accuracy and the Business Health Indicator

The information presented in the Service — including company details, accounts figures, the Business Health Indicator, plain-English summaries, "why now" rationales, registry-signal triggers, and any AI-generated content — is produced automatically from public sources and large-language-model output. It is provided for informational and prospecting purposes only.

The Business Health Indicator is not a credit score, credit rating, credit reference or any kind of regulated financial product. We are not a Credit Reference Agency and the Service does not constitute financial, legal, accounting, lending or investment advice. The indicator and any other data displayed in the Service:

  • may be incomplete, out of date, or misread by automated text or image-recognition processes;
  • may include AI-generated content that is plausible-sounding but factually inaccurate;
  • must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any commercial, lending, employment, supplier, contractual or risk decision.

You are responsible for independently verifying any data displayed in the Service against the official source (e.g. the Companies House public register) and, where the decision warrants it, obtaining a regulated credit report or professional advice.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and any rules governing your sector. You are responsible for the lawfulness of any outreach you conduct using contact details obtained through the Service.

You must not use the Service to: build, train or improve a competing product; resell aggregated data; circumvent rate limits; or process personal data unlawfully.

4. API access and credentials

API keys issued through the Service are tied to your tenant and you are responsible for keeping them confidential. You agree to revoke any key promptly if you suspect compromise. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke keys at any time without notice if we suspect abuse.

5. Plans, billing and quotas

Each plan has per-period quotas across the supplier APIs we use on your behalf. When a quota is reached, calls of the affected type stop until the next period or you upgrade. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Overage charges (where applicable to your plan) are billed at the rates published on the pricing page or in your billing area.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for: any decision you (or anyone else) takes on the basis of information displayed by the Service; any loss arising from the inaccuracy, unavailability or misuse of the Service; any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; and any loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms (whether in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise) is, in any rolling 12-month period, limited to:

  • the greater of £500 or the fees you have paid us in that period; subject in all cases to
  • an absolute aggregate maximum of £1,000.

Nothing in this clause limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).

7. Privacy & data processing

We process personal data about your account holders under our Privacy Notice. Data about third parties (e.g. company directors) is sourced from public registers and processed on a legitimate-interests basis for B2B prospecting; you remain a separate data controller for any subsequent outreach you conduct, governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.

Where you process Customer Personal Data through the Service, our role as processor and yours as controller are set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Sub-processors are listed at our Sub-processors page; we maintain a full inventory of Data sources & attribution for transparency.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms — and any non-contractual obligations or disputes arising out of or in connection with them — are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service. By using the Service you agree to submit to that exclusive jurisdiction and waive any objection on grounds of inconvenient forum.

10. Provider details

Plain-English summary (not a substitute for the terms above): we give you an automated, AI-assisted view of UK companies. Treat everything you see in the Service — especially scores, indicators and AI summaries — as a starting point for your own research. Verify before acting; do not rely on us alone for any business or commercial decision.
