Plans & credits

What is a Credit?

One Credit lets you save a company into your pipeline and run the full enrichment on it — directors, accounts, financial health, registry triggers, AI 'why now' rationale, the lot. Credits refresh at the start of every monthly billing cycle.

If you refresh a lead you've already enriched and we find nothing new, the credit is refunded automatically — you only pay for value.

Does Starter include director emails and account summaries?

Yes. Starter includes the core Prospera intelligence layer: verified personal director emails, filed-accounts summaries, registry-trigger intelligence, AI 'why now' rationale, AI outreach drafts and director-network insights. Pro adds more monthly lead volume, direct push to HubSpot & Mailchimp, and team seats; Enterprise adds custom industry config, API access, white-label and unlimited seats. Same brain, different scale.

Can I buy more credits if I run out mid-month?

On Pro and Enterprise, overage is automatic — you'll be charged a small amount per extra credit (typically a few pence per lead, equivalent to your underlying cost) and we never interrupt your work. On Starter, the cleanest path is to upgrade to Pro mid-cycle — your remaining Starter credits carry over and Stripe pro-rates the difference.

If you only need a one-off boost rather than a permanent move to Pro, email support and we'll add a top-up.

Do unused credits roll over to next month?

No — credits are usage-based and reset at the start of each billing cycle. Your saved leads, enrichment history and pipeline data stay with you regardless; it's just the fresh-discovery budget that refreshes monthly.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes — pay annually and save 20%. Starter £470/year (≈£39/mo), Pro £1,718/year (≈£143/mo), Enterprise £3,830/year (≈£319/mo). Credits are still released monthly so you can't burn 12 months' worth in week 1; the only thing that changes is the payment cadence.

Can I buy more pipeline storage without upgrading my plan?

Yes — three storage top-up packs are available alongside any paid plan:

  • £25 — adds 25,000 saved-lead slots
  • £75 — adds 100,000 slots (best mid-tier value)
  • £250 — adds 500,000 slots (best per-slot price, intended for Pro tenants nearing their cap)

Each pack gives you 90 days of extra slots from the moment of purchase. Multiple packs stack — buy a second while the first is active and you get the combined slot count, with each 90-day clock running independently.

When a pack expires, your saved leads are never deleted — the slots just disappear from your cap. If that puts you over-cap, the app stops accepting new saves until you upgrade, archive, or buy another pack. Existing data is always preserved.

Is there a free trial?

We don't run a time-boxed free trial because we'd have to either give away expensive enrichment quota or cripple the demo. Instead:

  • The live homepage demo runs a real search against Companies House — sector / region / age filters, capped at 10 masked results per run. No signup needed.
  • If Starter doesn't work for you in the first 14 days, we refund the month — see below.
What's your refund policy?

If Prospera isn't right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge and we'll process it back to the same card, no questions asked. After 14 days, you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal but the current month is non-refundable. Email [email protected] to start the process.

Can I downgrade or cancel anytime?

Yes — open Billing and use the Stripe Customer Portal to change plan or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then. Downgrading mid-cycle is allowed, with pro-rated credit on your next invoice.

What happens to my saved leads if I cancel?

Your account is set to a free read-only state for 30 days after cancellation so you can export everything. CSV exports include the full enrichment for each lead — emails, financials, registry signals, AI rationale. After 30 days, the account and its data are permanently deleted unless you reactivate.

What happens if I exceed my monthly credits?

You'll see a banner across the top of the app once you hit 90% of your allowance. On Pro and Enterprise the system rolls smoothly into overage (charged per credit at near-cost). On Starter, new discoveries pause until the next cycle or until you upgrade — your existing leads stay fully accessible.

Team & users

How many users can I add to my account?

Starter is 1 seat (single-user). Pro is 5 seats. Enterprise is unlimited seats. All teammates share the same pipeline, credits and integrations — there's no extra per-user cost within your seat allowance.

Can users have different roles or permissions?

Yes — admins manage billing, plan changes and integrations; members can search, enrich and work the pipeline but can't change billing. Role customisation (per-user lead visibility, custom roles) is an Enterprise-only feature.

How do I invite a teammate?

From Settings → Team, hit "Invite". They'll get an email with a one-click link to set their own password and join your workspace. Invitations expire after 7 days.

Can multiple people work on the same lead at once?

Yes — every lead is shared across the whole workspace. Two people can view + edit the same lead concurrently; the last save wins on individual fields, with a small "edited X seconds ago by Y" badge so you can see collaboration in real time.

Data, coverage & freshness

Where does Prospera's data come from?

Three streams, all public:

  • Companies House — UK statutory register: directors, accounts, filings, charges, PSCs. Used under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
  • The open web — each company's own homepage, contact page and team page (i.e. content they themselves published).
  • Filed financial accounts — iXBRL-tagged accounts published by each company through Companies House.

Full provenance list, including third-party APIs we call for verification (Hunter, OpenAI etc.), is on the data sources & attribution page.

How fresh is the Companies House data?

We read live from Companies House at the moment you enrich a lead — so director changes, new filings and charge registrations show up within minutes of being published. We don't keep a stale snapshot.

Do you cover all UK companies?

Yes — every active UK-incorporated entity on Companies House is discoverable (~5 million records). Smaller entities (sole traders, partnerships not registered at CH) are not covered because they don't appear on the public register.

Do you cover companies outside the UK?

Not today. UK only. France (via INSEE SIRENE + INPI) is the next country on the roadmap, followed by selected EU markets where free public registries exist. We'll announce coverage as each market lands.

How do you find director emails?

We use a layered approach to maximise hit-rate while staying GDPR-compliant for B2B prospecting:

  • Identify the active directors from Companies House.
  • Determine the email pattern the company uses (e.g. firstname.lastname@) from scrape-based signal on their own website.
  • Predict each director's email by applying that pattern.
  • Verify deliverability via Hunter — bounces are flagged.

Personal Gmail / Hotmail addresses are never returned. We deal only with business email addresses tied to the company's own domain — the lawful basis is legitimate interest for B2B prospecting.

How accurate are the emails — and what if one bounces?

Hunter-verified emails are typically >95% deliverable. Predicted-but-unverified emails are clearly flagged in the UI. If you encounter a bounce on a verified email, refresh the lead — we'll re-check and refund the credit if the data hasn't changed.

Compliance & data security

Is Prospera registered with the ICO?

Yes — Prospera is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller for the personal data we process about our subscribers (account-holder details, billing). For the company-director data we surface from public registries, we act under the legitimate-interest lawful basis for B2B prospecting purposes.

Is Prospera UK GDPR compliant?

Yes. We process personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full details — the categories of personal data, lawful bases, retention periods, your rights as a data subject — are set out in our Privacy Notice.

Where is my data stored?

All application data is hosted on Render's Frankfurt region (EU), inside the European Economic Area (EEA). Database backups are stored in the same region. No customer data is transferred outside the EEA except where required for transparent sub-processor functions (e.g. OpenAI for AI-generated content). See the sub-processors page for the full list.

Is my data encrypted at rest and in transit?

Yes, both. All traffic to and from Prospera uses TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS); the application is served behind Cloudflare's proxy with full TLS termination at the edge. Data at rest is encrypted on disk via Render's managed Postgres (AES-256). Sensitive secrets like OAuth tokens and webhook signing keys are additionally encrypted at the application layer using Fernet (AES-128 + HMAC) with a per-tenant key derived from a master secret — so even our database administrator can't read your CRM tokens.

Who can access my account data internally?

Only authorised personnel with a documented operational need — currently the founder and any explicitly-named operators. Database production access is gated by VPN, requires MFA, and is logged. We do not look at customer pipelines for any reason other than troubleshooting a support ticket, and only with the customer's permission.

Will you share my data with third parties?

No — never for marketing, never sold. We use a small set of sub-processors (hosting, email delivery, AI inference, billing) strictly to deliver the Service. Each one is listed publicly with its role and location on the sub-processors page.

Can I sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

Yes. Our standard DPA is available at /dpa and is automatically incorporated into our Terms of Service when you create an account. If your procurement team needs a counter-signed version, email [email protected] with your trading name and we'll return a signed PDF within 5 working days.

What's your data retention policy?

While your account is active we keep your data so you can use it. When you cancel, your data moves to read-only for 30 days (export window), then is permanently deleted. Backups roll out within 30 days of the deletion. Audit logs (logins, billing events) are retained for 12 months for security and accounting purposes. Specific retention timelines per data category are in the Privacy Notice.

How do I request deletion of my account data?

The fastest route: cancel from Billing and email [email protected] asking for immediate deletion (bypassing the 30-day export window). We'll confirm within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days as required under UK GDPR Article 17.

Are you Cyber Essentials / ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certified?

Not yet — we're a young company. Our roadmap:

  • Cyber Essentials Basic — targeted for Q3 2026 (no audit cost barrier, mostly internal process work).
  • UK GDPR Article 27 EU Representative — contract with a third party (Prighter or similar) lands alongside the EU expansion.
  • SOC 2 Type I — pursued only when a specific enterprise procurement asks for it; we won't run a speculative £20k audit before that demand signal arrives.

In the meantime we operate to Cyber-Essentials-equivalent controls (MFA on admin accounts, principle-of-least-privilege production access, automated dependency vulnerability scanning, encrypted backups). Happy to walk a security-review team through these on request.

Is the prospect data I receive GDPR-compliant to use?

For B2B outreach to UK-registered company directors using verified business email addresses — yes, in nearly all cases. The lawful basis is legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), provided:

  • Your message is relevant to the recipient's role and business interests (not random consumer marketing).
  • You provide an easy opt-out / unsubscribe in every email.
  • You don't email people who have previously asked you not to.
  • You're not in a sector with stricter sector-specific rules (e.g. financial services CR).

This is not legal advice — the responsibility for your outreach is yours. If you need to put it through your own DPO, our Privacy Notice and DPA contain the data-protection assurances they'll be looking for.

Integrations

Which CRMs and email tools does Prospera integrate with directly?

HubSpot (CRM) and Mailchimp (email marketing) are our direct integrations today — both use full OAuth flows and idempotent upserts. Available on Pro and Enterprise.

HubSpot push creates Companies + associated Contacts with 11 custom Prospera properties (score, why-now, sector, health band, financials). Mailchimp push adds every active director and key personnel (anyone whose role contains "Director") with an email as a subscriber on your chosen audience, with merge fields for personalisation in your campaigns. From any lead-detail page you can also tick / untick individual contacts before pushing — useful for adding generic inboxes or excluding people you don't want in this audience.

Pipedrive and Apollo land next. Salesforce is on the roadmap after that.

Can I push leads to a tool you don't directly support?

Yes. Every plan from Starter up includes a webhook export — point Zapier, Make or n8n at your Prospera webhook URL and you can fan leads out to 5,000+ destinations. Examples: Salesforce, Pipedrive, Apollo, Slack, Google Sheets, Notion. For email marketing tools we don't directly cover yet: ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, SendGrid, MailerLite, Constant Contact, Brevo, Customer.io — all reachable via the Webhook → Zapier route. Optionally HMAC-signed for verification.

Does the webhook payload include director contact details?

Yes — every active director of the company is included in the payload with role, full name (parsed into first/last), business email, phone (where known), and a is_statutory_director flag that distinguishes legally-accountable Companies House officers from people whose job title happens to contain "Director" (e.g. "Marketing Director"). Capped at 25 directors per push.

Can I auto-push every new lead?

Yes — per-connection auto-push toggle in Settings → Integrations. When ON, a saved lead is sent to that connection automatically the first time it successfully enriches. Manual "Push to HubSpot" and bulk-push buttons still work independently. Refreshes don't re-push to avoid duplicates.

Account & support

How do I get help or report a bug?

Signed in? Use Help & support in the side nav — the form auto-captures the page you came from so we can reproduce bugs without bouncing emails back and forth. Replies come by email and you can also see them in-app on your ticket.

Prefer email directly? [email protected] — include screenshots or URLs that help us reproduce. We read every message and typically reply within one UK working day.

What are your support hours?

Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 UK time. Email replies typically within one working day, often the same day. Enterprise customers get prioritised response targets as part of their plan.

What's your uptime track record?

Prospera runs on Render's managed infrastructure with automatic health checks. We aim for 99.5%+ monthly uptime in the early phase, moving toward 99.9% as the customer base grows. Status / incident history is published on request — and once volume justifies it, we'll move to a public status page.

Still got a question?

If your question isn't covered above, drop us a line — we read every email and we'd rather hear from you than have you guess.
